Equine Bodyworker : Kristy of Equioils 

Kristy got the horse-virus when her greatest wish became reality at 12 years old, and she got her own horse. Her Alegre was still with her until he sadly passed away not so long ago at a very senior age. Kristy was active in jumping when she was younger, at regional level. Then she started grooming for Kristof Cleeren, An Verschelde and Johnny Pals, as wel as Brecht D’Hoore. And this when still working full time.

After an unhappy but server accident het competition horse got wounded so she could no longer ride him. But she was in luck as she could by herself a real dressage-horse, and the love of dressage grew. Today Kristy is competing at level 4, national level. And she still teaches children and beginning  riders. With love and motivation she helps her students to have trust in the horse  and confidence in riding, but at the same time teaches them respect for the horse is always the first and foremost, always. 

Kristy has been active with and around horses for more than 20 years. Has a degree in Stable management, certificated for Rain-drop technique, and is a schooled Equine Bodyworker. She is also active in helping horses with use of essential oils and massages, as wel as being a bridle fitter.

She's very down to earth, and has a very open-hearted way of helping horse and rider.
